Run of Kutch

160 km · single stage · February · Rann of Kutch

The Great Indian Thar Desert Ultra — Run of Kutch is the toughest race in terms of heat and terrain, held in the dry desert conditions of the Rann of Kutch, with long stretches of the White Desert, marshy lands, hills and seacoast.

The race route travels from the tip of the Indian west coast through abandoned fort villages, historic towns, and culminates in a small town with ancient ruins. The route also passes through sparsely inhabited villages and some surprising lush green areas. Terrain includes salt flats, rough trail, village ruins and rocky stretches.
