Route:

The Championship race is slated to take place in the remote David-Scott’s trail of Meghalaya that includes its tree root bridges and technical trail sections.

Series regulation, Quad and Triple Championship:

  1. Runners will accumulate points 1-30 in each of the races they participate, based on their standing in that race, in their distance category. Both Men and Women are ranked separately.
  2. Only 30 members from each distance category (30 Men and 30 Women) are ranked in each race.
  3. Runners must complete and be ranked in at least 3 races for Quad Championship and 2 races for Triple Championship. They can DNF in one race. If they DNF, they will receive no points for that race, nor will they receive bonus points as explained below.
  4. A runner who completes all four races for Quad Championship and three races for Triple Championship, receives 3 extra points (even if they have failed to be in top 30 in one or more of the races) towards the championship race standing, which can bump up their overall standing to become eligible for the championship race.
  5. When a runner DNFs in one race, they can choose to enroll in and compete in a Globeracers’ race before the end of that year (the last race on the calendar is Nilgiris Ultra in November)
  6. Top 60 runners each for Quad Championship and Triple Championship, from each distance category (30 Men and 30 Women) will go on to compete in the Champion race in December 2019 to become the Quad or Triple Champions in their distance and gender category.
