Just so we can get the news and information to you in time, we redesigned our website, focusing on more features, simple styles, and ease of use. We are excited about what the younger generation can do. The Globeracers site is the work of a talented young man Parthiv, all of 14 years! Watch out this space for more on young talent, which will be showcased here.
The second edition of the Thar Desert race is in the works, and will be announced early November. The race is planned for February 2012, and will feature a distance of 168 – 180km in 4 days.
Also coming up is the Himalayas XTREME race, which is set to launch in August 2012.
We also have K3 – our ambitious 5000 km (or more) cycling race for November 2012 in the works. We’re glad to have multiple city cycling clubs working with us on this, and making the dream of a cyclist come true.
We’re looking forward to many more crewing experiences at Globeracers and contributing more to the development of endurance sport in India. Vishwas Bhamburkar is set to take on Brazil 135 in January.
